Pictures

Everyone wants to see pictures. An old saying sais, that one picture can say more than 1000 words - and that might be right. Personally I think that pictures tend to lie. If you take the pictures in the right way you can hide a lot and increase the focus of other things. I hope the pictures I show here tells the truth. I hope that I over time can pulish pitures about my car in various situations.

The "old" car

Let me start with a picture of my old car which I took shortly before I sold it. Everything went a bit fast, and the picture here is honestly not well made. In fact it is misserable. I still think that the picture shows a beautiful car. A car beautifully designed. It looks geniously well from the side. It turned out that the 18" wheels were unallowed in Germany. What a shame. They look so good on this car. I've seen plenty of Germans turn their hed 180 degree to look at this setup. They found it beutiful - and that sais a lot about the look. But I had to do something. Either change the wheels to 17" or change the car. I went for the last option.

A picture with history

These pictures have absolutely nothing to do with Honda Accord. I haven't even had one of these - although I would love to have one. One day we went to the city Speyer in the southern part of Germany. Here you find a huge technical museeum. Most is about German products. German Cars etc. I was at the point where I never thought they would show anything but German producs, and then it was there. An old Honda S800. This is to me exactly the type of car which defines Honda. Or perhaps what defined Honda. It appears to me that they have forgotten. This is a car with heart. Low weight and an engine wich lives at high rotations. This car sent the all the competitors back to the drawing boards. They were all sent back to start. Personally I think that Honda should go home to their drawing boards and have a look at the drawings for this car. They did once as they designed the Honda S2000. perhaps they should do it again. Back to the roots!

The car was unfortunately placed behind a wall. It made it impossible for me to come close and take the pictures I'd like to take. But seeing this car saved my day.

The new Honda

This is then what it is all about - my Honda Accord model CU1 from 2014. Here it is in front of our house. Placed where I took the picture of my old Honda Accord model CL7. Honestly - I can't tell which one of the both I find best. Which looks best etc. At the end of the day it doesn't matter. Both cars drive like a dream and the owners of both can be proud owners.
