Honda Civic 2001

We all want to look at pictures. When it comes to my little Honda Civic, things aren't much different. I have found a few in the Archives. The car stands here standard as it came from the factory. It stayed like this till the end. The only thing I changed was the alloys for the summer tires. A car which does not need any modification to look god does have qualities all by itself.

This picture was taken at Gl. Ålbo Camping, a little South East of Kolding in Denmark. I visited this Camping site the first time in year 2000 where Iearned a group of divers from Oldenburg in Germany to know. They came to this site once a month. We spend the time here diving along the walls in Lillebælt. In the evenings we had a great time eating whatever the Grill could offer. We were up to around 30-40 persons. This site is known as one of the best places to go diving. The Camping site has specialized in Divers. Well - to get back to the car. If you look at a picture of a Honda Accord from the same year, you will find quite a few similarities. It is as if Honda tood the cabin of the Accord and simply added a new fron and rear. The Alloys seen here are monted with winter tires. Some would claim that this is a pity, but the previous owner had not treated them with the care they deserved - and they had quite a few damages. So I decided to use them for the wintertires.

This picture was also taken at Gl. Ålbo Camping. I know - it's not the best picture I've ever taken. But look at the car as it stands there. I it no Honda Accord, but I don't care what others say - it's a worthy alternative. The Engine might not have the Power, but the fuel Economy is one of a kind good. Furthermore I was single as I had this car, and I didn't need a larger car. I saved quite a lot of money this way. The model was facelifted in 2003 and here the model was removed from the market in Denmark. If I wanted to replace it, I would have had to go to Germany and buy it there. This could have been interesting as the car in Germany was sold with an 1.7 Liter engine with 125 HP. The import rules to Denmark would though have made it the most expensive car in its segmet, so at the end this was no alternative at all.
